Hillside is a former Victorian gentleman's residence built around 1880, now a guest house offering bed and breakfast accommodation. We are conveniently situated, in an elevated position, just 2 to 3 minutes walk from Kendal town centre with its shops, restaurants, museums, cinema and theatre facilities. Moresdale Bank Cottage is located 5 miles East of Kendal and within easy reach of junction 37 of the M6 Motorway. The cottage is a single detached unit in the courtyard of the former home farm of the Moresdale Hall Estate, and is a conversion of a former farmworkers cottage and stable. The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with en-suite shower and two twin rooms with a shared bathroom (sleeping 6 in all), a dining kitchen and a cosy sitting room with open log fire. Children are welcome and cot and high chair are available. Sorry but dogs are not allowed. Outside there is a lawn with garden furniture and stunning views over the Howgill Fells. Visitors are welcme to wander through the 8 acres of woodland.
