Surrounded by damson orchards, fields and trees, access is via a narrow lane which only leads to the hamlet of just twenty or so houses. Most of the well known attractions of the Lake District are within easy reach, yet the cottage feels far from the noise and crowds. The cottage is a single detached unit in the courtyard of the former home farm of the Moresdale Hall Estate, and is a conversion of a former farmworkers cottage and stable.
