With great walks from the door and a pub/restaurant 10 minutes walk from the cottage it's has much to offer. Sleeps four plus cot with en-suite bathrooms to both bedrooms, the main bedroom has a Whirlpool bath. Set in the small hamlet of Row in the Lyth valley, it stands on the hillside with magnificent views in all directions. Surrounded by damson orchards, fields and trees, access is via a narrow lane which only leads to the hamlet of just twenty or so houses. Most of the well known attractions of the Lake District are within easy reach, yet the cottage feels far from the noise and crowds. The Lyth valley offers outstanding natural beauty with good walking. We offer full weeks or short breaks at competative rates. The Peat House was awarded a 4 star grading in January 2008.
